The African National Congress:

On the occasion of the convening of the Forty-fifth Annual Conference of the
African National Congress, on behalf of the Chinese people, I express our sympathy
and support for the struggle of the people of South Africa for fundamental human
rights and against racial discrimination. Moreover I wish you continued successes
in the cause of rallying the various peoples of South Africa to fight for peace and
democracy.
