Comrade Aleksander Zawadzki, Chairman of the Council of State of the People’s
Republic of Poland,
Comrade Josef Cyrankiewicz, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the People’s
Republic of Poland,
Comrade Adam Rapacki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of
Poland:

On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the National Day of the People’s
Republic of Poland, on behalf of the government of the People’s Republic of China

and the Chinese people, we extend our fraternal and warm congratulations to you,
and through you to the Polish people.
The Chinese people have followed with joy the great successes which our
brothers the Polish people, under the leadership of the Polish United Workers' Party
and the government of the People's Republic of Poland, have achieved in safeguarding and developing the socialist cause in Poland and in defending world
peace. The Chinese people are happy to see that the exchange of visits between the
premiers of China and Poland1 has further consolidated and deepened the profound
friendship between the Chinese and Polish peoples, and has promoted the development of friendly and cooperative relations between China and Poland in the areas
of politics, economy, and culture.
May the Polish people achieve even greater successes in their cause of
building socialism, consolidating the people's democratic system,2 and safeguarding peace in Europe and the world. May the fraternal friendship and
cooperation between the Chinese and Polish peoples be further developed and
consolidated.
(Cosigned as Chairman of PRC with Liu Shaoqi as Chairman of Standing Committee of NPC and Zhou Enlai as Premier of State Council, dated in Beijing)
