from Qi Jishu, "Zai Mao zhuxi shenbian" (At Chairman Mao's Side) in Zhongguo

According to the source, Qi was a member of Mao's bodyguards from 1943 to 1946.

Comrade Qi Jishu:
I have received your letter of December 26. I am very happy [to hear from you].
High blood pressure is something that can be cured gradually; you must not be
impatient about it. I have already entrusted someone with looking for the medicine
[you need]; when and if we find it we will send it to you immediately. If this brand
of medicine cannot be found, [I think you] can use another medicine as a substitute.
I send, enclosed, a photograph, and wish you the best of health!
