The spring river surges, pausing for a while;
Once more I climb the tiers of peaks, my gaze unfolds.
A breeze stirs the green oasis, sending waves rolling forth;
Rain ascends from the azure fields, mounting toward the hills.
Beneath the wine cup, our laughter and chatter remain unchanged;
Beyond these bounds, the petty squabbles of cockfighting and insect wrangling are but pitiable.
Why mourn that youthful days slip by so swiftly?
After thirty years, I yet again stand upon He Xi Terrace.
