The document titled *Circular on Serious Problems Discovered Among Miscellaneous Service Personnel*, issued by the Air Force Party Committee, is hereby forwarded to you for reference. The issue of impure composition among miscellaneous service personnel is highly noteworthy and should be resolved during the current campaign to eliminate counterrevolutionaries.

[1] This refers to the *Circular on Serious Problems Discovered Among Miscellaneous Service Personnel* issued by the Beijing Military Region Air Force, forwarded on July 31, 1955, by the Office for the Examination of Cadres of the Air Force Party Committee of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The circular stated that since the launch of the campaign to eliminate counterrevolutionaries, units of the Beijing Military Region Air Force stationed in Beijing had uncovered numerous problems among miscellaneous service personnel, proving that past work in this area had been insufficient and vetting had not been strict. It emphasized that leadership at all levels must pay close attention and that the campaign to eliminate counterrevolutionaries among miscellaneous service personnel must not be relaxed, so as to resolutely purge counterrevolutionary elements who have infiltrated their ranks.
