Telegram on the Eleventh Anniversary of the Liberation

On the occasion of the eleventh anniversary of the liberation of Romania, we wish, on behalf of the government and people of the People's Republic of China, to extend to you, and through you to the government and people of the Romanian People's Republic, our heartfelt and warm congratulations.

The government and people of the People's Republic of China observe with the utmost elation the tremendous achievements the Romanian People's Republic has made over the past eleven years in the cause of socialist construction under the leadership of the Romanian Workers' Party. These achievements have strengthened the forces of the camp of peace, democracy, and socialism headed by the Soviet Union. We wish the fraternal Romanian people new victories in the cause of consolidating and bringing prosperity to their motherland and in safeguarding peace in Europe and the world. May the unbreakable friendship between China and Romania be further consolidated and developed.
