Comrade Józef Cyrankiewicz, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Polish People's Republic,
Comrade Stanisław Skrzeszewski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Polish People's Republic:

On the occasion of the 11th National Day of the Polish People's Republic, we wish, on behalf of the Government and people of the People's Republic of China, to extend our heartfelt congratulations to you, and through you, to the Government and people of the Polish People's Republic.

Over the past eleven years, under the correct leadership of the Polish United Workers' Party and with the selfless assistance of the Soviet Union, the Polish people have achieved tremendous successes in socialist construction. Thanks to the smooth fulfilment of the Six-Year Plan, which laid the foundation of the socialist economy, the Polish People's Republic has become a socialist industrial country with enormous economic potential. The prosperity and growing strength of the Polish People's Republic have greatly reinforced the world peace and democratic socialist camp headed by the Soviet Union and the forces safeguarding world peace. The Chinese people feel joyous and inspired by this.
