Inscription for the Exhibition on the Achievements of Ten Years of Socialist Construction
(April 28, 1955)

The Exhibition on the Achievements of Ten Years of Socialist Construction of Czechoslovakia has left a deep impression on us. The economy and culture of socialist Czechoslovakia have undergone rapid development over the past ten years. This is the result of the correct leadership of the Communist Party and the government of Czechoslovakia, and this is the result of the strenuous struggle waged by all the working people of Czechoslovakia for their own happy life. The fact of Czechoslovakia's rapid development in industry, especially in the machine-building industry, has greatly strengthened the confidence of our people in the industrialization undertaking now beginning, and foreshadows the increasingly broad prospects for the development of trade and scientific-technical cooperation between China and Czechoslovakia. May Czechoslovakia grow ever more prosperous and strong, and may the friendship between the people of Czechoslovakia and the people of the People's Republic of China be continuously enhanced and consolidated.
