Over the past four years, the friendly cooperative relations in the economic and cultural fields between China and Pakistan have made progress. I am convinced that, henceforth, with Your Excellency’s efforts, the friendly relations between our two countries will grow increasingly close on the existing foundation. The enhancement of such friendly relations will not only further consolidate the friendship between the peoples of our two countries, but will also contribute to the peace in Asia and the world which the peoples of all countries are striving to achieve.

The Government of the People’s Republic of China and I myself welcome Your Excellency’s assumption of the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to the People’s Republic of China, and we are willing to render full assistance in your work of strengthening the friendly cooperation between our two countries and safeguarding international peace.
