On the occasion of the first anniversary of the signing of the Sino-Korean Economic and Cultural Cooperation Agreement, we extend our warm congratulations to the Korean people, the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and to you.

The signing and implementation of this agreement has further consolidated and developed the fighting friendship forged between the peoples of China and Korea in the war of fighting shoulder to shoulder against the American aggressors. The Chinese people congratulate the Korean people with admiration and joy on the brilliant achievements they have made in implementing the Three-Year Plan for the restoration and development of the national economy.

The unremitting struggle of the Korean people and the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to strive for the peaceful reunification of Korea has always been deeply concerned and sympathized with by the Chinese people and the Chinese government.
