Notes on Arranging for Ye Gongchuo and Zhu Yushan [1] to Participate in the Work of the CPPCC (October 13, 1954) Comrade Li Weihan [2]: It seems appropriate to make arrangements for Ye Gongchuo and Zhu Yushan to be involved in CPPCC affairs.

Notes [1] Ye Gongchuo had previously served as Minister of Finance in Sun Yat-sen’s Grand Marshal’s Office and as Minister of Railways in the Nationalist government.
In 1950 he returned to Beijing from Hong Kong and was appointed a member of the Cultural and Educational Committee of the Government Administration Council.
Following the First Session of the First National People’s Congress, which decided to abolish the Cultural and Educational Committee, no new post had yet been assigned to him.
Zhu Yushan was at that time an Executive Committee Member of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang and also served as its Minister of Organization. [2] Li Weihan was then Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary-General of the National Committee of the CPPCC.
