Refers to the report on foreign affairs work that Zhou Enlai was preparing to deliver at the 33rd meeting of the Central People's Government Council to be held on August 11, 1954. The report introduced the situation of the Geneva International Conference held from April 26 to July 21, 1954, and expounded on our country's foreign policy. This report was later published in full in the People's Daily on August 14, 1954.

Refers to the "Joint Declaration of All Democratic Parties and People's Organizations of the People's Republic of China for the Liberation of Taiwan." This declaration was adopted at the 58th enlarged meeting of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference held on August 22, 1954, and was published in the People's Daily on August 23, 1954.
