This document (2) may be immediately circulated to all concerned parties (members of the Constitution Drafting Committee and members of the Central People’s Government), and they are to bring it to the meeting venue on June 11.

Li Weihan,
who at that time served as Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary-General of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and a member of the Constitution Drafting Committee of the People’s Republic of China.
[2] Refers to the revised draft of the “Draft Constitution of the People’s Republic of China.” This revised draft was discussed and adopted at the seventh meeting of the Constitution Drafting Committee, held on June 11, 1954, with members of the Central People’s Government in attendance. It was then approved for public release to solicit opinions nationwide. At the same meeting, the “Report of the Constitution Drafting Committee on the Course of Constitutional Drafting”—prepared for submission to the Central People’s Government Committee—was also discussed and adopted.
