Letter to Panchen Erdeni [1]
(April 1954)
Mr. Panchen Erdeni:
Thank you for your letter and gifts dated August 1, 1953. I am very pleased to learn that you are in good health and consistently working for unity.
It is excellent that every year some people from Tibet come to the interior for visits. In addition, each year a number of young people could also be selected to study in the interior, both for long-term and short-term programs. This would help train more ethnic cadres who can contribute to the construction of Tibet.
Enclosed with this letter are one milk separator, one amplifier, and one dual-mode radio receiver.
Wishing you
Good Health
Mao Zedong
