Letter to Dai Yuben
(December 9, 1953)

Comrade Yuben:

Your letter of September has been received. I regret the delay in replying. It is very good that you are working at the Workers’ Hospital, and I hope you will persist in your work there. When arriving in a new place, there may be difficulties; in that case, you should persist in gradually overcoming the difficulties there, and after a period things may become smooth. In this way, it will be beneficial both to you and to the country. This is my reply.

I wish you
diligence.
