Your Excellency, Mr. Ambassador:

I am very pleased to accept the letter of credence presented by Your Excellency from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, and express my profound thanks for the congratulations conveyed by Your Excellency on behalf of the President, Government, and people of the Republic of Indonesia.

I am confident that, henceforth, with Your Excellency’s efforts, the friendly relations of economic and cultural cooperation between China and Indonesia will grow ever closer, and that the enhancement of such friendly relations will contribute to the peace in Asia and the world which the peoples of all countries strive to secure.

I warmly welcome Your Excellency’s assumption of the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the People’s Republic of China. In Your Excellency’s work to strengthen the friendly cooperation between our two countries, you shall have the assistance of myself and the Government of the People’s Republic of China.

I wish Your Excellency success in your work.
