Your letter of August 17 has been received.
Brother Youcheng[2] has passed away from illness, and I deeply mourn him.
Regarding your coming to the capital, do not come this year still; we shall discuss it in the future.

Zhang Siwei was a neighbour of Mao Zedong in his youth. In his early years, he participated together with Mao Zedong in the Revolution of 1911, the Northern Expedition, and the peasant movement. After the founding of New China, he worked in the Salt Affairs Transport and Marketing Bureau of Hunan Province.

Youcheng, namely Zhang Youcheng, was a cousin of Zhang Siwei. In his early years, he participated together with Mao Zedong in the Revolution of 1911 and the peasant movement.
He passed away in Hunan in 1952.
