Letter to Wen Jianquan[1]
(September 8, 1953)

Brother Jianquan:

Your kind letter has been received.

Thank you very much for informing me of the situation in our hometown.

Regarding the matter of visiting Beijing and touring places such as Shanghai, it is not convenient this year; please do not come. As for the matter of Zhao[2] seeking education, it is not convenient for me to make introductions; other ways should be considered. This is my reply.

Wishing you health and good fortune, and extending my regards to all relatives and friends!
