Letter to Zou Puxun\[1\]

(July 11, 1953)

Brother Puxun:

Your letter of July 1 has been received. I am much comforted to learn that your livelihood has improved somewhat, and I rejoice for you.

After the autumn harvest, if you are willing to come to Beijing for a visit, you may travel together with Mr. Li Shuqing\[2\] and stay in the capital for a month or so. Mr. Li Shuqing wrote last year expressing a wish to come to Beijing once, but I do not know whether he still has such an interest this year, or whether his health permits a long journey.

With wishes for your peace and good fortune.
