Letter to Huang Yanpei\[1\]
(July 30, 1953)

Mr. Renzhi:

The letter sent before your departure and the recent letter have both been received and read. The improvement in the current situation is the result of the joint efforts of all parties. That you have gained insights from reading Marxist works is worthy of congratulations. The weather is hot; you may stay a while longer at the seaside.

With regards,
Mao Zedong
