Letter to Wang Jiaxiang Regarding Amendments to the Code of Conduct for Advisors (May 27, 1953)  Comrade Wang Jiaxiang:  In the “Code of Conduct for Advisors” addressed to our comrades working in Vietnam [2], under the first article, “Love the Vietnamese people and every blade of grass and every tree,” the following should be added: “Respect Vietnam’s national independence … and the customs and habits of the Vietnamese people; support the Vietnamese Workers’ Party and its leader, Comrade Ho Chi Minh [3], as well as the Party and the people of Vietnam.” If this document has not yet been dispatched, please incorporate the above passage.
