Comments on the Inspection of Financial Authorities and Logistics Departments Regarding Their Self-Reviews of Violations of Financial Discipline (July 21, 1952) To Comrades Bo Yibo and Yang Lisan [1], with copy to Comrades Liu, Zhou, Zhu, and Peng Dehuai [2]: Since several months ago, the Central Committee issued an instruction [3] requiring financial administrative organs at or above the prefectural level, as well as logistics departments of the armed forces at or above the corps level, to submit self-reports to the Central Financial Commission and the General Logistics Department on any violations of financial discipline, with a specified deadline for submission. I now instruct you to assign specific personnel to conduct an inspection, compile a list distinguishing those who have submitted their reports from those who have not, and forward this list to me and other central leaders for review, together with your recommendations for handling the matter. Mao Zedong Printed on July 21 based on his handwritten draft.
