To Zou Puxun[a]
(July 11, 1952)
Brother Puxun:
Your letter of July 1 has been received. I am much comforted to learn that your living standards have improved somewhat, and I rejoice for you.
After the autumn harvest, if you are willing to visit Beijing, you may come together with Mr. Li Shuqing and stay for about a month. Mr. Li Shizhi wrote last year expressing a wish to visit Beijing once, but I do not know whether he still has such an interest this year, or whether his health permits a long journey.
With best wishes for your peace and well-being!
