Additional remarks appended to the draft supplementary regulations

All army and division commanders who are not seriously ill must attend the visit; no absences will be permitted.

arrival in Korea for observation of actual combat operations will be in early May.
Postponement is not allowed.

This sentence was added after the first article of the PLA General Staff Department’s draft supplementary regulations dated April 16, 1952, concerning the delegation to North Korea. The original text of Article 1 read: “(1) Personnel authorized to enter North Korea for observation shall be limited to army and division commanders of field armies and special forces units (excluding local military regions). At present, routine unit affairs will be managed by deputy officers and political cadres.”

This sentence was added after the fifth article of the draft supplementary regulations. The original text of Article 5 stated: “(5) Lists of visiting delegations from each major military region must be telegraphed no later than April 20.”
(6) The 18th Army stationed in Tibet is excluded from this visit.
