Telegram of Condolence to Bumtsend on the Passing of Choibalsan (January 27, 1952) Comrade Bumtsend, Chairman of the Presidium of the Great People’s Khural of the Mongolian People’s Republic: With deep sorrow, I have learned of the passing of Marshal Choibalsan, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People’s Republic.
On behalf of the Government and people of the People’s Republic of China, I extend our heartfelt condolences to you and to the Government and people of the Mongolian People’s Republic.
Marshal Choibalsan was a great leader of the Mongolian people, an outstanding leader and organizer of the Mongolian Revolution.
His passing represents not only a tremendous loss for the Mongolian people but also for the global camp of peace and democracy.
The assistance he rendered to the Chinese people during the war against Japanese imperialism will forever be remembered in the hearts of the Chinese people.
