Let us all—staff of the People’s Government, commanders and soldiers of the Chinese People’s Volunteers and the People’s Liberation Army, the various democratic parties, people’s organizations, minority nationalities, and the entire Chinese people—celebrate our victories on every front!

Long live our victory on the Anti-U.S. Aid-Korea Front!

Long live our victory on the National Defense Front!

Long live our victory on the Land-Reform Front!

Long live our victory on the Front for Suppressing Counterrevolutionaries!

Long live our victory on the Economic and Financial Front!

Long live our victory on the Cultural and Educational Front!

Long live our victory on the Front for Ideological Remolding throughout society, especially among the intellectuals!

I also wish success on a newly opened front: the call to all the people of our country and all our cadres to unite in a vigorous, resolute, and large-scale campaign against corruption, waste, and bureaucracy, so as to cleanse our society of these malignant poisons left over from the old order!

Comrades, in 1951 we achieved victory on all the fronts I have just mentioned, many of them of momentous significance. We hope that, through our joint efforts, all these endeavors will attain even greater successes in 1952!

Long live the People’s Republic of China!
