Central Committee's Comments Transmitting the East China Bureau's 1952 Work Outline for East China

To the East China Bureau, with notice to all Central Bureaus, and request to forward to their subordinate sub-bureaus and provincial, municipal, and district Party committees:

(1) The telegram from the East China Bureau dated December 6 and the 1952 Work Outline for East China [1] have both been received. The Central Committee approves this work outline. (2) This work outline is hereby distributed to all Central Bureaus, sub-bureaus, and provincial, municipal, and district Party committees for study and reference. The Central Committee considers this to be a relatively comprehensive work outline.

[1] The East China Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China's work outline for 1952 consists of ten sections, namely: (1) Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. (2) Increase production and practice economy, prohibit waste, severely punish corruption, and oppose bureaucracy. (3) Urban work. (4) Land reform and rural work after land reform. (5) Work on building political power. (6) Party consolidation and Party building work. (7) Launch the ideological remolding movement. (8) Work on suppressing counterrevolutionaries. (9) United front work. (10) Work on youth and women.
