Telegram of Thanks to the German Democratic Republic on the Occasion of the “German-Chinese Friendship Month” (June 18, 1951)

To Comrade Wilhelm Pieck and Comrade Walter Ulbricht,
via the Political Bureau of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany:

The German Democratic Republic has held the “German-Chinese Friendship Month” and has honoured us with a congratulatory telegram, for which we are deeply grateful. I hereby pay tribute to Comrade Pieck and Comrade Ulbricht, the founders of the great German Democratic Republic and great communist revolutionaries, and to the glorious Socialist Unity Party of Germany and the German people who are struggling for peace and socialism. Long live the friendship between the Chinese and German peoples!
