Telegram to Peng Dehuai [1] Concerning the Enemy’s Movements Following the Capture of Gimhwa and Cheorwon and Our Troop Dispositions (June 13, 1951) Comrade Dehuai: (1) Now that the enemy has occupied Gimhwa and Cheorwon, what are their movements?
Can our forces hold them along the line from there to the Kimcheng–Pyeonggang–Toesan line?
What are our troop dispositions?
I am very concerned about these matters. (2) I have ordered Comrade Deng Hua [2] and four other comrades to depart for the front on the 15th.
All important decisions of the Central Committee will be communicated personally by Deng.
