Letter to Liu Shaoqi and Others on Visiting the Land Reform and Suppression of Counterrevolutionaries
(March 30, 1951)

Comrades Liu, Zhou, Chen, and Luo Mai[1]:
There are still nine months left in this year. Four or five to seven or eight batches of visiting groups or inspection teams should be organized from the two municipalities of Beijing and Tianjin to go to the southern provinces (mainly East China and Central-South; if there are aircraft, they should also go to the Southwest) to inspect the work of land reform and suppression of counterrevolutionaries. All those from the central level of the various democratic parties who wish to go should be allowed to [go]. Whether this is feasible, please consider and decide.
