Comments on a Work Report

To the East China Bureau, the Central-South Bureau, the Northwest Bureau, the North China Bureau, and to be forwarded to sub-bureaus, provincial Party committees, large municipal Party committees, and district Party committees:

Below is the report from the East Sichuan District Party Committee on the issue of suppressing counterrevolutionaries. We consider this report to be entirely correct. The points it makes about bolstering the courage of timid comrades, dispatching capable personnel to conduct inspections, emphasizing tactics, and strictly enforcing approval procedures are all very necessary.
