Comment on the Report of the Symposium
(25 January 1951)

Comrade Luo Mai[1]:

This document[2] may be distributed to all comrades attending the United Front Work Conference, and they may be asked to take it back for more comrades to read. Request that the United Front Work Departments of all central bureaus, sub-bureaus, and provincial, municipal, and district Party committees convene regular meetings, or convene meetings of representatives from all democratic parties when major events arise, just like this conference in Southern Jiangsu, and report to the Central United Front Work Department. Those who do not convene meetings and do not report shall be deemed derelict in their duties.
