Central Directive Transmitting the Experience of the Nanjing Students’ Anti-American Accusation Movement
(December 9, 1950)

To all Central Bureaus, Sub-Bureaus, and forward to all affiliated Municipal Party Committees, Provincial Party Committees, and Regional Party Committees:

The experience of the anti-American imperialist accusation movement in Nanjing is very good. All major cities may refer to it in carrying out their work. Please study and apply it as appropriate.

The Central Committee

[I]
The experience mentioned in the report of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, dated December 7, 1950, to the East China Bureau and the Central Committee on the situation of the Nanjing students’ anti-American accusation movement primarily involved mobilizing students to accuse American imperialism by linking it to their own personal experiences, exposing its deceptive propaganda, overcoming feelings of worship and fear of America, and convening a citywide student representative accusation assembly as well as organizing a citywide student demonstration to resist America, aid Korea, protect the homeland, and safeguard the nation, thereby arousing anti-American patriotic enthusiasm and advancing the movement to resist America and aid Korea.
