“Summarizing Reactions from Various Quarters to the Korean War” [1]

In short, the imperialist countries continue to show panic and helplessness in response to the entry of our volunteer army into Korea.
In Britain, most Conservative, Liberal, and Labour newspapers do not favor a break with China and advocate “caution.”
The leaders and people of the new democratic countries are extremely excited about the Chinese volunteer army’s resistance to America and its war operations. Our country’s international standing has been greatly enhanced by this action, and the domestic mood is also extremely inspired. The fear of America has greatly diminished, and all sides express unity and support for our heroic People’s Volunteer Army.
