Telegram Concerning the Operational Tasks and Command Issues of the Ninth Army Corps (November 5, 1950)

Peng, Deng [1] and inform Song, Tao [2] and Gao [3]:

(1) All telegrams received, the deployment is very good.

(2) The Jiangjie-Changjin area should be definitely assigned to the Song Army Corps to undertake with full force, using the principle of luring the enemy deep and seeking opportunities to annihilate them one by one. Thereafter, this army corps will be directly commanded by you, and we will not remotely control it. One army of the Ninth Army Corps should directly advance to Jiangjie and quickly go to Changjin.
