Telegram Regarding Instructions to the 38th Army to Seize an Opportunity to Annihilate One or Two Regiments of the Puppet Seventh Division (November 5, 1950) To Peng and Deng [1] and also to Gao [2]: (1) It appears that our 38th Army still has a good opportunity to wipe out one or two regiments of the enemy Puppet Seventh Division in front of it.
Please instruct the army to make every effort to take advantage of this opportunity. (2) Be mindful that the enemy may, taking advantage of our fatigue, launch a counterattack at some point.
All units should remain vigilant and avoid any slackening of discipline.
