Comment on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Report Concerning Czechoslovakia’s Plan to Edit and Publish Works of Mao Zedong

Please inform the Czechoslovak comrades that these documents should not be printed for the time being. They may be selected and printed after the officially published Selected Works of Mao Zedong is issued in China in a few months.

This refers to the military works of Mao Zedong that the Central Military Publishing House of Czechoslovakia planned to edit and publish before the end of 1950, and works such as On New Democracy, On Coalition Government, The Chinese Revolution and the Chinese Communist Party, The Present Situation and Our Tasks, and Speech at the Conference of Cadres in the Shanxi-Suiyuan Liberated Area, which were to be included in a selected works of Mao Zedong planned for editing and publication by the “Freedom” Publishing House of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia.
