Telegram to Peng Dehuai〔1〕 et al. Regarding the Thirteenth Corps Continuing Training in Place (October 12, 1950) Comrades Peng and Gao〔2〕, as well as Deng, Hong, Han, and Xie〔3〕: (1) The order issued on October 9 shall remain suspended.
All units of the Thirteenth Corps should continue training in their current locations and refrain from moving out. (2) Comrades Gao Gang and Peng Dehuai are requested to come to Beijing tomorrow or the day after tomorrow for a discussion.

Xie refers to Xie Fang, who at that time served as Chief of Staff of the Thirteenth Corps.
