On the Task of Our Military Attaché Observation Group to Korea[1]

(October 4, 1950)

It should be divided into two groups:
One to investigate various conditions near Pyongyang and along the Pyongyang-Antung[2] line and the Pyongyang-Jian[3] line; the other to investigate various conditions along the Pyongyang-Wonsan line, the Wonsan-Chongjin line and the mountainous areas north thereof, as well as the conditions along the Pyongyang-Wonsan line up to the 38th Parallel. If possible, a brief investigation should also be made, but do not go deep.
