Letter to Huang Kecheng and Others

(September 20, 1950)

Kecheng, Shoudao,[2] and to be conveyed to Comrade Zihui:[3]

It is said that the Changsha Prefectural Committee and the Xiangtan County Committee are currently undertaking the construction of a house for me in my hometown and building a road leading to my hometown. If this is true, please order them to stop immediately and not to undertake any construction at all, so as to avoid causing adverse effects among the people. This is of the utmost importance.
