Comments on the matter of intrusions against us [I]
(16 September 1950)

In the Northeast and along the coasts of Shanghai and Shandong (discovered by fishermen), American aircraft or warships continue to be spotted intruding. It would be inappropriate to ignore this, yet protesting each time would be endlessly troublesome. It seems advisable to gather multiple cases and lodge a protest once every ten days or half a month. Please consider and handle accordingly. Regarding the coastal incidents, the Military Commission has the materials.
