Letter to Jiang Zhuru
(August 10, 1950)

Brother Zhuru:

Your letter of July 31 has been received. I just made inquiries at the Revolutionary University, and they say that their research class can admit several persons around September. So, if you are determined and able to endure hardship (the food there is not very good), you may come here and enroll in the research program. I received your magnum opus at the same time. Many thanks!

Wishing you
Good luck in teaching!
