Notice from the Central Committee Regarding the Attendance of Central Bureau Leaders in Beijing for a Meeting (August 27, 1950) Comrades Gao Gang, Peng Dehuai, Deng Xiaoping, Deng Zikui, and Rao Shushi:  In order to discuss several important issues in advance so as to better respond to the current situation and to formulate the Three-Year Plan—both of which are to be submitted for consideration by the Fourth Plenary Session of the Party and the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, scheduled to convene in November or December—we request that the five of you come to Beijing on September 25 for a meeting lasting approximately five days.
This is hereby notified; please make the necessary preparations.
