Central Instructions on the Report Concerning Enemy Agents’ Assassination Plots and Our Security Measures (July 18, 1950) To all Central Bureaus, Sub-bureaus, and Party Committees of Military Regions, with copy to all Provincial, Municipal, and District Party Committees as well as those of divisions and regiments:  We are hereby transmitting to you a report dated June 11 from the Political Security Bureau of the Central Public Security Ministry concerning enemy agents’ assassination plots and our security work.  You are requested to accord this the utmost attention and to direct your subordinate units to strengthen security measures, thoroughly foil the Kuomintang enemy agents’ assassination schemes, and effectively safeguard all leading Party comrades, working cadres, and non-Party democratic personages.
