[1] Mao Guichang (1894–1958), a native of Shaoyuan Village, Shaoshan Township, Shaoshan City, Hunan Province, later relocated to Yuanjiang County, Hunan Province, a peasant. A distant uncle of Mao Zedong. During the Great Revolution, he participated in the peasant movement in Shaoshan.
