Letter to Zhang Siwei [1]
(May 8, 1950)

Brother Siwei:

Your letter of January 16 has been received. It is good that you have obtained a position at the salt industry company. You should apply yourself diligently to this work, achieve results and earn trust, and not come to Beijing. Beijing has more people than work to do, and placement is not easy. I replied earlier with a letter; I wonder if you have received it?

Wishing you progress!
