Letter to Luo Yuxiong[l]
(April 19, 1950)
Respected Teacher and Senior Schoolmate Yuxiong:
Your esteemed letter of February 14 has been duly received, and I deeply appreciate your kind sentiments. The shortcomings and mistakes among cadres that you pointed out are indeed widespread and must be rectified. Should you have further observations, I would be grateful if you would inform me at any time. As for the matter of coming to Beijing, it seems advisable to postpone it for the time being. It would be more appropriate to engage in work or study nearby. I wonder if you would agree with this view?
This is my reply. With respectful wishes for your
Well-being in teaching.
