Dear Comrades and Friends:
On this occasion in Moscow, Comrade Zhou Enlai and other colleagues of the Chinese delegation and I have met with Generalissimo Stalin and other responsible comrades of the Soviet Government. The full understanding and profound friendship established between us on the basis of the fundamental interests of the peoples of China and the Soviet Union, two great nations, are difficult to describe in words. People can see clearly: the unity of the peoples of China and the Soviet Union, already fixed by treaty, will be permanent, indestructible, and impossible for anyone to divide. And this unity will inevitably affect not only the prosperity of the two great nations, China and the Soviet Union, but also the future of humanity and the victory of world peace and justice.

During our stay in the Soviet Union, we visited many factories and farms and witnessed the great achievements of the Soviet workers, peasants, and intellectuals in socialist construction. We saw the work style of the Soviet people, cultivated under the education of Comrade Stalin and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, which combines revolutionary spirit with a practical approach. This confirmed the consistent conviction of the Chinese Communists, namely: the Soviet Union’s experience in economic, cultural, and other important fields of construction will serve as a model for the construction of the new China.

In Moscow, the capital of the Soviet Union, and in Leningrad, the birthplace of the October Revolution, we received a warm reception. As we depart from this great socialist capital, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Generalissimo Stalin, the Soviet Government, and the Soviet people.

Long live the permanent friendship and permanent cooperation between China and the Soviet Union!
