Regarding the Drafting of the East China Military and Political Committee Roster
A Letter to Chen Yi[1]
(October 12, 1949)
Comrade Chen Yi:
Please invite Liu Xiao[2] and Su Yu[2] to draft a proposed roster for the East China Military and Political Committee. Party members should constitute slightly more than half, with non-Party democratic personages making up a relatively smaller proportion, totaling around thirty members. Kindly submit it to me tomorrow (the 13th).
