Chiang Kai-shek will inevitably try to entice Xinjiang, and Tao Zhiyue and his subordinates may still adopt a wait-and-see attitude for a while. For the time being, do not press Tao to immediately send representatives to Lanzhou, because our army has not yet entered Xinjiang, and even if Tao sends representatives, the issue cannot be resolved immediately. We have already notified Tao to send representatives; as for whether to send them and when to send them, let Tao decide for himself—do not urge him. In fact, it is advisable for the situation in Xinjiang to temporarily maintain the status quo and await resolution when our army enters Xinjiang.
